What is the address of the new facility?
The new facility is one mile from our current site. The new site address is 93 avenue du Champ Gretz, 62180 Rang-du-Fliers, France.
How big will this new facility be?
We are relocating from 50,000 sq. ft SOFAMOR old stomping grounds to a state-of-the-art 118,400 sq. ft facility, with room to grow!
When is the relocation scheduled to take place?
Plan is to relocate the equipment during the second quarter of 2024 and complete the move by the end of summer.
Will all the equipment be moved at the same time?
Each department will move in a predetermined sequence. A Gantt chart is available upon request.
How long will the equipment be offline?
Our relocation has been meticulously crafted and will be executed with minimal interruption to your business. Plan is to move 1-2 pcs of equipment by department early 2Q24 to begin IQ/OQ validations and begin ramp up phase at new site.
What validations will be performed at the new location to ensure equivalency?
We will run an IQ and OQ on each machine and document it. Please let us know if your company requires a PQ or a more specific re-validation process.
Will there be any changes to the manufacturing process of our products that could impact product quality?
No, this project is to relocate our existing equipment from our current location to our new site, one mile away. Since there will be no changes to equipment, contaminants, software, final inspection plan, dynamic control plan, processes and process flows, your product will not be impacted by any changes.
Will there be any change to the QMS?
No, other than a new ISO certification number which will be allocated by our notify body (GMED) as soon as the new site is ready to ship parts (ETA: June 2024).
The old facility accreditation will remain valid up to the facility shutdown which should occurs towards the end of August 2024 and more formal communication will follow.
Will Intech Group provide a bridge inventory of my parts?
